Go placidly amid the noise and the haste, and remember what peace there may be in silence. As far as possible, without surrender, be on good terms with all persons. Speak your truth quietly and clearly, and listen to others, even to the dull and ignorant; they too have their story.
Avoid loud and aggressive persons; they are vexatious to the spirit. If you compare yourself with others, you may become vain or bitter, for always there will be greater and lesser persons than yourself.
Enjoy your achievements as well as your plans. Keep interested in your own career however humble; it is a real possession in the changing fortunes of time.
Exercise caution in your business affairs, for the world is full of trickery. But let this not blind you to what virtue there is; many persons strive for high ideals, and everywhere life is full of heroism.
Be yourself. Especially do not feign affection. Neither be cynical about love, for in the face of all aridity and disenchantment, it is as perennial as the grass.
Take kindly the counsel of the years, gracefully surrendering the things of youth. Nurture strength of spirit to shield you in sudden misfortune. But do not distress yourself with dark imaginings. Many fears are born of fatigue and loneliness.
Beyond a wholesome discipline, be gentle with yourself. You are a child of the universe no less than the trees and the stars; you have a right to be here.
And whether or not it is clear to you, no doubt the universe is unfolding as it should. Therefore, be at peace with God, whatever you conceive Him to be. And whatever your labors and aspirations, in the noisy confusion of life, keep peace in your soul. With all its sham, drudgery, and broken dreams, it is still a beautiful world. Be cheerful. Strive to be happy.

Footprints in the Sand
One night a man had a dream. He dreamed he was walking along the beach with the LORD.
Across the sky flashed scenes from his life. For each scene he noticed two sets of footprints in the sand: one belonging to him, and the other to the LORD.
When the last scene of his life flashed before him, he looked back at the footprints in the sand.
He noticed that many times along the path of his life there was only one set of footprints.
He also noticed that it happened at the very lowest and saddest times in his life.
This really bothered him and he questioned the LORD about it:
"LORD, you said that once I decided to follow you, you'd walk with me all the way. But I have noticed that during the most troublesome times in my life, there is only one set of footprints. I don't understand why when I needed you most you would leave me."
The LORD replied:
"My son, my precious child, I love you and I would never leave you. During your times of trial and suffering, when you see only one set of footprints, it was then that I carried you."
The Eagle
The eagle is a magnificent bird Who soars with graceful ease He's a symbol of our heritage As he glides upon the breeze
He's a symbol of our freedom In his soaring boundless flight A beacon for humanity And a splendid, noble sight
His huge wingspan maneuvers him In boundless soaring flight Oh eagle, in your majesty May we follow you tonight
May we soar like eagles on the wings Of dreams composed of light Oh, eagle, in your splendor May we follow you tonight
Sit back and relax...

Mount Rainier, Washington...
Mount Rainieris astratovolcanoinPierce County, Washington, located 54 miles (87 km) southeast of Seattle, Washington, in the United States. It is part of the CascadeVolcanic Arcand is the highest peak in the Cascade Rangeat 14,410 feet (4,392 m). The mountain and the surrounding areaare protected within Mount Rainier National Park. With 26major glaciers, Mount Rainier is the most heavily glaciatedpeak in the lower 48 states with 35 square miles (91 km²) ofpermanentsnowfieldsandglaciers. The summit is topped bytwovolcanic craters, each over 1,000 feet (300 m) in diameterwith the larger east crater overlapping the west crater.Geothermalheat from the volcanokeeps areas of both craterrims free of snow and ice, and has formed an extensivenetwork ofglacier caveswithin the ice-filled craters. A small crater lake, the highest in North America, occupies the lowestportion of the west crater below more than 160 feet (50 m) ofice and is accessible only via the caves.
Mount St. Helens is most famous for its catastrophic eruptiononMay 18, 1980,which was the deadliest and most economically destructive volcanic event in the history of the United States. Fifty-seven people were killed; 250 homes, 47 bridges, 15 miles (24 km) of railways, and 185 miles (300 km) of highway were destroyed. The eruption caused a massive debris avalanche, reducing the elevation of the mountain's summit from 9,677 ft (2,950 m) to 8,365 ft (2,550 m), andreplacing it with a mile-wide (1.5 km-wide)horseshoe-shaped crater. The debris avalanche was up to 0.7 cubic miles (2.3 km³) in volume.
As with most other volcanoes in the Cascade Range, Mount St.Helens is a large eruptive cone consisting oflavarockinterlayered withash, pumice, and other deposits. Themountain includes layers ofbasaltandandesitethrough whichseveraldomesofdacitelava have erupted. The largest of the dacite domes formed the previous summit and off its northernflank sat the smallerGoat Rocks dome. Both were destroyed in the 1980 eruption.

Just The Way You Are...
Don't go changing to try and please me You never let me down before, mm-mm Don't imagine you're too familiar And I don't see you any more.
I would not leave you in times of trouble We never could have come this far, mm-mm I took the good times, I'll take the bad times I'll take you just the way you are.
Don't go tryin' some new fashion Don't change the color of your hair, mm-mm You always have my unspoken passion Although I might not seem to care.
I don't want clever conversation I never want to work that hard, mm-mm I just want someone that I can talk to I want you just the way you are.
I need to know that you will always be The same old someone that I knew Oh, what will it take till you believe in me The way that I believe in you.
I said I love you, and that's forever And this I promise from the heart, mm-mm I couldn't love you any better I love you just the way you are.
I don't want clever conversation I never want to work that hard, mm-mm I just want someone that I can talk to I want you just the way you are.
